The Model Tenancy Act, 2021 came into force on the 2nd June 2021 and the same approved circulation in all States and Union Territories to adopt and implement the said Act by way of amendments.
The law establishes expeditious dispute resolution mechanisms for disputes concerning tenancy, regulates rents and protects the interest of the landlords and tenants.
